Concentration Area

Information and Energy Processing - This concentration area is characterized by teaching and research related to sensing, measurement, transformation, transmission, and processing, in continuous and discrete domains, of physical measurements and numerical variables, involving low and high concentrations of energy as well as high and low frequencies. This concentration area is traditional within the electrical engineering realm, although it is currently very important as well due to the existing technical and scientific problems in sectors like production and conservation of energy, industrial automation and tretament of measuring signals.
