Composition of the Board and Auxiliary Committees

 

According to the regulations of the Federal University of Bahia, each Stricto Sensu graduate program must be managed by a body or structure called a Board, supported by the Congregation of the academic unit to which it belongs, the Academic Teaching Council and the University Council. The current composition of the PPGEEC Board, as established in its Internal Regulations, is as follows:

Among the functions of the program board are planning and monitoring the various activities of the courses, institutional representation, and evaluation of student requests.

 

Scholarship Committee

 

According to the regulatory provisions of the scholarship funding agencies, the PPGEEC has a Scholarship Committee. At the PPGEEC, the Scholarship Committee is the program board itself. The Scholarship Committee allocates scholarships, monitors scholarship students' performance, and analyzes related requests.

 

Graduate Diploma Revalidation Committee

 

According to the regulations of the Federal University of Bahia, the PPGEEC has a Graduate Diploma Revalidation Committee that is obtained abroad in related areas. Currently, the Graduate Diploma Revalidation Committee comprises the following members: Prof. Fernando Augusto Moreira, Prof. Vitaly Félix Rodríguez Esquerre, and Prof. Jés de Jesus Fiais Cerqueira.

Committees for other demands are created case-by-case by the PPGEEC board, following the specific regulations for each situation.
